We are only 60 days away to Christmas 2006 Celebration... Time flies eh?

North York Mandarin Alliance plans to celebrate Christmas Eve this year at the McKee Elementary School on Dec. 24, 2006 - it was revealed to me about 2 weeks ago during the English congregation's helpers' monthly meeting. We have yet to plan what program the English congregation plan to showcase.

Christmas is a time of joy -- for a little boy named Jesus was born. Indeed, the prophet Isaiah announced, "Unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" (9:6). Isaiah also gave a mysterious prophecy that was only partially fulfilled in his lifetime. It began, "The Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel" (7:14). Immanuel means "God with us."

Let's us pray for NYMAC, for the English congregation brothers and sisters to prepare program to witness God's wonderful Son, Immanuel.
