Origami
Kelly Qiao (a.k.a Qiao Ke Ly - Chocolate) - went back to China to visit families. We had a send off diner for her that night. We made a few Origami birds for Amos at Pastor Enoch Koh's house.

Brother Amos - Happy New Year 2007! 阿漢加油!
Today, brother Amos came to church service. Tonight, he joined us for New Year 2007 celebration. He was able to stand up by himself. There is progress. There is a new page of a storybook to write.
Just remember, God will continue to lead you in any ways & means! Look on the bright side. There are plenty of fishes in the ocean. Get your strength back up first to be able to fish again. Keep on smiling. Keep on praying. Keep on serving God Almighty with joy & love. Be happy and "bon courage 阿漢加油!". Steps by steps, you will be able to lift up as God had willed you to be a good fisherman with humbleness, filled with the fruits of Holy Spirit. Life is not easy to bear our cross and follow Jesus Christ. However, like the apostle Peter, becoming a better fisherman takes time. God will prepare you the way He envisions it. Have peace in your heart.
PS: For those who have not known of the story - brother Amos got a left side stroke early in December 2006. He was drained physically, emotionally however never flinched spiritually. His mother and aunt visited him from Malaysia. He patiently but slowly build up strength with nights and days spent at the rehab center. God writes our stories and hope we can listen to His will for us.
